Daniel and I have been long time fans of reading the One year bible. This leads you through reading the bible in a year. You read part of the old testament, part of the new testament, a psalm and a proverb. Recently, I starting reading this blog along with it:

The one your bible blog basically give you all the background information for the days reading. It also gives a link to the daily reading online. He also includes pictures :) which sometimes are alittle cheesy, but for my seeing visual representations while we read through revelation was really helpful. This blogger also encourages you to mediate on a verse from the reading that day, and asks you questions about the reading.
